Kendrick Lamar Inspired By Kanye West’s Release For “New Slaves”

If you still haven’t heard what Kanye West did over the weekend, then we’re just going to chalk it up that you’ve been asleep for the last couple of days. On Friday night/early Saturday morning, Ye released a new visual for “New Slaves,” from his forthcoming and tentatively titled album, Yeezus. And while any drop-off from Kanye is always a big affair, this one was slightly different. The G.O.O.D. Music head honcho decided to project the aesthetic on 66 buildings across the world. This of course had people lining up in the streets of various cities throughout. Here, Sway of MTV spoke with Kendrick Lamar on the event, as expectantly, Kendrick says he is inspired by the delivery and cannot wait to hear West’s new album. Watch This Fan-Made Kanye West Documentary – Where The Lonely Kids Go When The Bell Rings

James Workman presents a new Kanye West documentary. Entitled “Where The Lonely Kids Go When The Bell Rings”, the 45 minute documentary takes a trip down memory lane. Workman stated the following about the short film:

“My goal was to capture something from every solo album, and the video is basically chronological. Starting with CD and ending with MBDTF. I entitled it Where The Lonely Kids Go When The Bell Rings (I know that’s not the actual line in Eyes Closed), because I feel like that sums up Kanye’s career – The outsider. The misunderstood genius.”

The bootie looking shoe has a couple new colorways in the works for the summer, one of them being this combo of tarp green and total crimson. The look is one of the first at retail to serve up an alternate to the white outsole, this time sporting total crimson along the bottom. Pusha T – Numbers On The Boards

As expected, today Pusha T liberates the anticipated visual for his latest “Numbers On The Boards”single. The dark clip sees the G.O.O.D. Music emcee out in Paris, performing the in-your-face audio. We also note cameos from boss man Kanye West and Chicago young gun Chief Keef towards the end of the piece. “Numbers On The Boards” will appear on Push’s upcoming My Name Is My Name album, dropping on July 16.
